President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the premises of the new educational institution.
President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the new Astrum Information Technology Academy in Yukorichirchik district during his trip to Tashkent Region, the press office of the President of Uzbekistan reported.
The new two-storey building of the Academy is equipped in accordance with modern standards; 700 state-of-the-art computers are installed in the premises. It is planned to create an IT cluster at the Academy, comprising the possibilities of studying and working in the same industry so that students will be able to apply the acquired knowledge in practice. Academic performance will be assessed using artificial intelligence technologies.
Applicants willing to study at the Astrum Academy are currently being enrolled.
President Mirziyoyev talked to the entrants in the premises of the Academy. Addressing the young people, the leader of Uzbekistan highlighted the importance of receiving information technology education; knowledge will be their investment in the future and a pillar of support for the people and the country.
Before leaving the building, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed to build a coworking centre and housing facilities for future students at the Academy that would offer favourable conditions for living, recreation and sports activities.
