Akylbek Japarov sets out for trips to regions of Kyrgyzstan in his new position

During his trip to Batken Region, the Prime Minister focused on the measures taken by the Government to develop the region.

On October 14, Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Japarov set out for his trips to the regions of the country. Akylbek Japarov made the first visit to Batken region in his new position, where he attended the investment forum “Development of Batken – the Development of the Country", the press office of the Government of Kyrgyzstan reports.

Welcoming the participants in the forum, Japarov underlined the development potential of the region and reminded about the benefits for investors.

He said a special investment regime had been put in force – the Cabinet of Ministers provides state safeguards for investment and is going to give investors full amnesty in Batken region. In addition, the threshold for direct public procurement will increase from 2 to 5 million soms.

According to the Prime Minister, these regimes are the best time to invest in Batken, including for local entrepreneurs. In this regard, he urged all those present to use this opportunity, highlighting the need to comply with Eurostandard-5.
