Implementation of Kyrgyzstan-Saudi Arabia projects discussed

The Deputy Prime Minister informed the diplomat about the development of the Batken Region Development Programme for 2021-2025.

On October 12, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Zhyldyz Bakashova met with Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Kyrgyzstan Ibrahim Al-Radi. The interlocutors discussed the implementation of joint education, health and social projects, the press office of the Government of Kyrgyzstan reported.

In particular, the Kyrgyz side proposed to continue joint efforts to build social facilities in remote areas of the country and assist vulnerable groups of the population under the assistance programmes.

Noting with satisfaction the stable development of bilateral relations in various fields, the Vice Prime Minister highly evaluated the mutual support provided by Kyrgyzstan and Saudi Arabia within the international and regional organisations.

Bakashova said the Batken Region Development Programme for 2021-2025 had been developed and the Roadmap for its implementation had been adopted. 30 investment projects aimed at promoting the development of the region have been developed, and a large-scale investment forum will be held in Batken region in the near future.
