Kazakbayev speaks on current Kyrgyz-Chinese relations

The Minister said there were no profoundly controversial issues between the countries that would impede the development of relations.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Ruslan Kazakbayev delivered a speech at the science conference at K. Karasayev Bishkek State University. The event was organised to honour the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Kyrgyzstan and China, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.

In his speech, the Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasised that today Kyrgyzstan-China relations were developing dynamically at a high level over the history of bilateral interaction, and there were no profoundly controversial issues between the countries that would impede the development of relations.

Kazakbayev noted that China, as the world’s second largest economic power that had ensured internal stability and economic development and a neighbouring country, would continue to occupy a special place among the foreign policy priorities of Kyrgyzstan.

Ambassador of China to Kyrgyzstan Du Dewen, as well as representatives of the expert and academic community of the country attended the conference.
