Important documents signed within Berdimuhamedov's visit to Dubai

The President of Turkmenistan met with the Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE. They discussed projects in the gas-chemical, financial and transport sectors.

On October 10, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, as part of his participation in the National Day of Turkmenistan at the EXPO-2020 World Exhibition in Dubai, met with the Deputy Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The delegations of the countries signed a number of important documents, as reported by «Turkmenistan Today».

Negotiations between Berdimuhamedov and the deputy prime minister took place in the conference hall of the main reception center of the exposition. They agreed to expand business contacts between states. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of projects in the gas-chemical, financial, transport, trade and investment spheres.

The President of Turkmenistan stressed that the Central Asian country has created all the necessary conditions for Arab businessmen. Delegations of the countries held negotiations after the meeting of the senior officials.

Representatives of Türkmenenergo Corporation and Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company PJSC-Masdar signed a Memorandum of Understanding. A similar document was signed by the top management of the Turkmenbashi International Seaport and the DP World FZE holding. A number of bilateral documents were signed between the banks of Turkmenistan and the UAE. The Cabinet of Ministers and the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development signed an agreement on the issuance of a loan for the construction of a chemical plant for the production of mixed mineral fertilizers in Turkmenabat (a city in the eastern part of Turkmenistan).
