Mirziyoyev presents Isuzu bus for joint trips to Sahovat home

The leader of Uzbekistan inspected the living conditions at the facility and had a warm conversation with representatives of the older generation.

On September 27, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Sahovat retirement home to inspect the living conditions of its inhabitants during his official visit to Namangan. The President talked to respectable fathers and mothers in a calm and warm atmosphere. The leader of the country presented an Isuzu bus for joint trips and guided tours to the retirement home, the press office of the President of Uzbekistan reported to CentralAsia.news.

Mirziyoyev was informed about the work done at the retirement home: a new building for 120 beds and 4 cottages were built. The administrative and utility buildings were reconstructed, and the electricity, water and heat networks were renovated. Each inhabitant has a separate room with a TV, refrigerator and furniture. For their convenience, the kitchen, treatment and physiotherapy rooms, a swimming pool and a gym are housed in the same building. There are also recreation areas and a library on its territory.

“Last time, I came to you at the call of my heart. Upon returning to Tashkent, I thought a lot about how to improve your life. It is my task as President to create the necessary conditions for you. Seeing that now you are living in good conditions, and your worries have become easier, I feel happy. If you are satisfied with life, then Allah will be pleased with us, peace will reign in our Motherland and success will accompany our deeds,” the leader of Uzbekistan emphasised.

As was reported, the President visited the retirement home in March and instructed that living conditions at 34 Sahovat retirement houses throughout the country be improved.
