Kazakhstan to attract investments from Saudi Arabia

Tokayev and Khalid Al-Falih discussed the issues of further expanding trade and economic relations.

On September 27, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev met with Minister of Investment of Saudi Arabia Khalid Al-Falih. The parties considered the key issues regarding further steps to expand bilateral trade and economic cooperation and attract investment, the press office of Akorda reported to CentralAsia.news.

The President of Kazakhstan thanked the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for providing support to the Republic over 30 years of independence.

“We believe that our states have many opportunities to expand partnerships and fill it with more practical content. Therefore, the Crown Prince and I discussed a number of future joint projects on the telephone. A framework of our cooperation will become more solid. In this regard, we welcome your visit and believe that we will be able to achieve real progress in our relations through your support and the involvement of my Administration,” the leader of the country said.

The Saudi Minister noted that the leadership of the Kingdom confirmed its continued support for the further development and prosperity of the Republic and highly evaluated ongoing reforms and the leadership of Kazakhstan in the Central Asian region, as well as the right way chosen 30 years ago.
