Mirziyoyev visited the Yuxalish industrial town in Davlatabad Region to inspect the activities of the Glass Expo society.
On September 27, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Namangan region for a working visit. He visited the Yuxalish industrial town, where he thoroughly inspected the work conducted by the Glass Expo LLC and held a meeting with local entrepreneurs, the press office of the President of Uzbekistan reported to CentralAsia.news.
The enterprise specialises in processing and decorating glass with national and modern ornaments. It started to work 2 years ago and makes a valuable contribution to the localization and replacement of imported steel products in the region. After the enterprise reaches its full capacity, it will export goods worth US$ 1.2 million annually.
During his visit to the enterprise, Mirziyoyev learned about the technological process and product samples and held a meeting with local businessmen.
“Entrepreneurs are the future of our republic. Over the past 5 years, we have made every political effort to strengthen the market. Now it is your turn to work on quality, competition, export. You have to make big plans, set worthy goals and introduce innovation every day. The Export Promotion Agency at the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade will help you with that and invest in your projects. The environment should be such that unemployed young people become entrepreneurs, and small businesses turns into large investors,” the President emphasised, addressing the regional business community.
