Rahmon gives unofficial banquet for heads of CSTO and SCO member states

The President of Tajikistan presented agricultural products, national dishes and fruit trees to the guests.

On September 16, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon gave an unofficial banquet for his counterparts after the meeting of the CSTO Collective Security Council and the SCO summit. The event began at the residence of the Government and ended at the residence of the President of Tajikistan, the press office of the President of Tajikistan reported.

The guests were the presidents and prime ministers of Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan and other officials. The guests visited the exhibition of agricultural products and national dishes where they tasted Tajik grapes, raisins and pistachios.

The representatives of other countries visited a garden at the city residence of the President with fruit and shade trees planted by Rahmon.

After the evening of friendship had concluded, the presidents and prime ministers expressed gratitude to the President of Tajikistan for organising the banquet with exquisite national dishes and highly appreciated hospitality extended in the country.
