The first economic forum is reported to provide a new platform for the European Union and Central Asia.
On September 15, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov received Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg Muktar Jumaliev. The President was informed about the preparations for the upcoming European Union-Central Asia First Economic Forum in Bishkek, the press office of the President of Kyrgyzstan reported.
This forum is to provide a new economic platform for the EU and Central Asia. The event is scheduled for November 5 this year.
This was the first economic platform for the European Union and Central Asia to reflect and correlate the economic interests of the participating countries, the Ambassador said. The prime ministers will attend the event.
The European Union announced the allocation of more than 1 trillion euros in the EU green economy strategy for the transition to development. The Kyrgyz side can present its sustainable economic projects for cooperation with the EU at the upcoming forum.
The leader of Kyrgyzstan emphasised that the promotion of effective political and economic cooperation with EU countries was a key foreign policy priority.
