New micro hydroelectric plant to be put into operation in Andijan

After the power plant is put into operation, it will supply eco-friendly electricity to 600 households.

A new 120 kW micro-hydroelectric power plant that was built with the support of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan will be put into operation in Jalalkuduk Region of Andijan in the near future. After the power plant is put into operation, it will supply eco-friendly electricity to 600 households, the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan reported to CentralAsia.news.

This micro power plant is equipped with 4 high-quality hydroelectric units, each with a capacity of up to 30 kW. According to preliminary data, these mechanisms will generate 1.52 million kilowatt-hours per year.

Currently, installation work on the pipeline and finishing and commissioning works are underway on the territory of the new facility. After these works complete, the opening of a micro hydroelectric power plant will be held involving the high-ranking officials of the Republic in a solemn atmosphere.
