Maripov invites Turkish businessmen to invest in Kyrgyzstan

The Prime Minister said Kyrgyzstan was ready to create an enabling work environment for foreign investors in the country.

On September 10, Chairman of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic Ulukbek Maripov and Vice-President of the Republic of Turkey Fuat Oktay participated in the Kyrgyzstan-Turkey business forum in Bishkek. About 300 representatives of the business communities from the two countries attended the event, the press office of the Government of Kyrgyzstan reports.

In his welcoming speech, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers expressed readiness to make every effort to strengthen bilateral relations with fraternal Turkey and invited investors to Kyrgyzstan.

The Vice President of Turkey said the Turkish side was ready to strengthen bilateral relations and noted the important role of the forum in implementing joint projects and addressing challenges.

The business forum in Bishkek is taking place within the 10th meeting of the Kyrgyzstan-Turkey intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation. The intergovernmental commission has signed a number of important documents.

This year the two states celebrate the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations.
