Alageum Electric sends 98% of its exports to CIS states

Annual design capacity of the plant worth 10 billion tenge is expected to be 13,000 transformers.

On September 7, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev visited the Petropavlovsk electrical plant Alageum Electric to inspect its activities during his visit to North Kazakhstan Region. This project costs 10 billion tenge, and its annual production capacity will be 13,000 transformers. 98% of goods are to be exported to the CIS states, the press office of the President of Kazakhstan reported to CentralAsia.news.

The local employees demonstrated the transformer production line and told about social support measures for local workers and further product development plans. They emphasised that local workers, including migrants from the southern regions of the state, had access to affordable housing, and trainees had an opportunity to receive training and a job.

Talking to local workers during his visit to the plant, the President Kazakhstan highly evaluated the activities and export potential of the enterprise. He noted with satisfaction that the enterprise would be able to develop further, emphasising that the authorities of Kazakhstan would always provide support to domestic producers.
