On September 6, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held an online meeting with the heads of regional administrations. He instructed officials to pay specific attention to the preparation for the historic meeting of the Halk Maslahaty (one of the chambers of parliament). It was reported by «Turkmenistan Today».
The hakim of the Akhal province Yazmuhammet Gurbanov reported on preparations for the festive events on the 30th anniversary of independence and the meeting of the People’s Council. Berdimuhamedov instructed him to focus on accelerating the construction of social, cultural and industrial facilities. Particular attention was paid to the importance of serious preparation of delegates for the parliamentary meeting.
The hakim of the Balkan velayat Tangryguly Atahalliyev was instructed to use a comprehensive approach in preparation for the meeting of the Halk Maslahaty. In a conversation with Nazarmyrat Nazarmyradov, head of the Dashoguz province, the president noted that important issues would be discussed at a meeting of one of the chambers of the National Council. Instructions regarding the upcoming meeting of the deputies were also given to the hakims of Lebap and Mary provinces.
