The leader of Turkmenistan congratulated the «young stars» on their participation in the final round of the music and song competition.
On September 4, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov addressed the participants of the music and song contest among gifted children «Garaşsyzlygyň merjen däneleri». He stressed that the «young stars» will make a great contribution to the popularization of Turkmen art in the world, as reported by «Turkmenistan Today».
He drew attention to the fact that sincere songs of the kids inspire citizens of the country to great achievements. According to him, the corresponding competition instills in children the love for art and homeland. The head of the state noted the magic of the participants’ songs.
Berdimuhamedov praised songs and melodies that celebrate the achievements of Turkmenistan, a happy childhood and a prosperous life in the Central Asian country.
The main goal of the creative competition is to find young talents. The contest is held every year. More than a thousand children from various regions of the state, aged from 7 to 14, take part in it. The finalists of the music and song event receive valuable gifts and diplomas from the President.
