Maripov suggests that Kuwait build oncology centre in Osh

The participants in the meeting highlighted the importance of further expanding and enhancing Kyrgyzstan-Kuwait cooperation.

On September 1, Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Ulukbek Maripov received Advisor to the Emir of Kuwait, Special Adviser to the UN Secretary General and Head  of the International Islamic Charity Organization Abdullah Al-Maatouk. The interlocutors discussed the progress in implementing the humanitarian projects in Bishkek with the support of the Kuwaiti side, the press office of the Government of Kyrgyzstan reported.

The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers suggested that the Kuwaiti side consider the possibility of building an oncology centre in Osh.

Abdullah Al-Maatouk congratulated the people of Kyrgyzstan on the 30th anniversary of independence and expressed readiness to provide further humanitarian and social assistance to the Republic.

Maripov thanked for assisting in the implementation of social projects in Bishkek and the regions of the country, such as the construction of hospitals and educational and social facilities, as well as providing support to vulnerable populations.

On August 31, Kyrgyzstan solemnly celebrated the 30th anniversary of independence. President Sadyr Japarov attended the anniversary events.
