Prime Minister of Armenia among the first to arrive in Kyrgyzstan for summit

As reported, a meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will bring together the Prime Ministers from the EAEU member states in Issyk-Kul Region on August 19-20.

On August 19, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan is one of the first high-level participants in the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council to arrive in Kyrgyzstan. The Prime Ministers of Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia and Belarus will attend the international event in Cholpon-Ata, the press office of the Government of Kyrgyzstan reports.

The representatives of Cuba and Uzbekistan that have observer status at the EAEU will attend the meeting.

The meeting agenda will cover the functioning of the internal market, the establishment of common markets of gas, oil and petroleum products, transport issues and the prospects for creating an institution of insurance support for mutual and foreign trade of the EAEU member states.

Particular attention will be paid to the global climate action agenda.

According to the Russian side, the resolutions of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council that will boost Eurasian economic integration are expected to be signed at the meeting.
