Government officials of Kyrgyzstan to explain importance of vaccination to employees

The work done by the Bishkek Mayor’s Office to conduct the vaccination campaign is evaluated as unsatisfactory.

On August 12, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Zhyldyz Bakashova convened a regular meeting of the Republican Task Force to discuss the current epidemiological situation in the country and the progress in the rollout of COVID-19 vaccines in the capital and law enforcement employees, the press office of the Government of Kyrgyzstan reports.

Expressing dissatisfaction with the pace of vaccinations in the capital, Bakashova instructed that the investigation be conducted and appropriate disciplinary measures be taken against the guilty executives.

The high-ranking officials of the law enforcement agencies were instructed to continue to conduct awareness raising activities among the staff on the necessity and importance of vaccination against coronavirus disease.

Moreover, the government officials were tasked to ensure full vaccination coverage of employees of central offices, territorial divisions and subordinate institutions.
