The bread baking competition will be held in accordance with the Order of President Emomali Rahmon dated January 27, 2020 on the organisation of festivals, exhibitions and celebrations in the Republic in 2019-2021.
The competition aims to popularise the traditions of baking flatbread, demonstrate different types of bread and instil respect for baking bread. This competition has been held in Dushanbe for several years in a row.
In the previous years, various bakery products, in particular, chappoti, satri, small and large kulchi, fatir, tahmol, orzuk, fatiri kad-kad, kalama and red and white halva, were presented at the contest.
