The funds were taken from the Charitable Foundation for Assisting Children in Need of Guardianship.
President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov allocated funds from the Charitable Foundation for Assisting Children in Need of Guardianship to pay for various surgeries for orphans at medical institutions of the country. It was reported by the state news agency «Turkmenistan today» on August 11.
Young citizens and medical workers thanked the head of the state for his care. Employees of the healthcare system stressed that children are the main treasure and heritage of Turkmenistan.
The above foundation was established in March this year. As part of the decision of the Mejlis of Milli Gengesh, it was named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. Funds of the organization have already been allocated for the purchase of new ambulances for the pediatric departments of hospitals in the Balkan, Dashoguz, and Lebap provinces.
The main goals of the foundation are to pay for medical and educational services for orphans, as well as to provide young Turkmen citizens with an opportunity for good recreation.
