Uzbekistan exhibits export goods in Turkmenistan

The enterprises of 9 leading industries represented the country at the exhibition.

On August 6, the Uzbekistan delegation participated in the Central Asian commodity exhibition with the support of the MIFT in the framework of the Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia in the Avaza national tourism zone. Uzbekistan was represented by the enterprises of 9 leading industries: the food, leather and footwear, electrical, chemical, pharmaceutical, light, jewellery, building materials and automotive industries, the press office of the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade reported.

In total, 55 Uzbek manufacturers exhibited their products. These include the Uzpromstroymaterialy Association that exhibited roofing materials, marble products, paints and varnishes, aluminium composite panels, double-glazed windows, stained glass windows, drywall, dry building mixtures and sanitary ware.

The companies of Uzavtosanoat JSC exhibited motor vehicles, buses, dump trucks, special purpose vehicles (ambulance, fire truck, harvesters), container ships, mobile refrigerators, commercial cargo vehicles, tractors, combine harvesters and mounted and trailed equipment.

The pharmaceutical products, including medical equipment, mechanical ventilators, medicines, including anti-coronavirus drugs, were of particular interest among visitors.

The exhibition provided a platform for establishing direct business contacts and discussing the possibilities of partnerships through the implementation of joint projects and the signing of mutual trade agreements.
