Mamin inspects progress of infrastructural development of Mangystau Region

The Prime Minister was informed about the development of the transit and transport potential when visiting the Kuryk ferry complex and the Aktau Port.

On July 21, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin made a working trip to Mangystau Region. The Prime Minister inspected the progress of the implementation of tourism, logistics, engineering and infrastructure projects, the press office of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan reported.

Askar Mamin attended the opening ceremony of Kazakhstan’s first ever recreation area Tetysblu. The theme park is located in the Aktau tourism zone. It is the first theme park in Central Asia that features such amusement facilities as BluPower, Watermania and Snorri.

The Prime Minister inspected the progress of the development of a tourism zone. He visited the construction sites of the Hilton and Fairmont hotels with a golf club, shopping pavilions, luxury villas and exclusive apartments.

The Chairman of the Government visited the Aktau Port free economic zone. A presentation of the new investment projects on the production of flexible packaging materials, pump spare parts, caustic soda and chlorine-containing chemicals took place on one of the sites.

The Prime Minister was informed about the development of the transit and transport potential when visiting the Kuryk ferry complex and the Aktau Port. These water gates handle 6 million tonnes of cargo per year.
