Several major international events will be organized in Turkmenistan until the end of 2021. The announcement was made at an expanded government meeting chaired by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on July 17, as reported by «Turkmenistan Today».
These are the Summit of the Presidents of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, and the Republic of Turkey, the 15th ECO Forum, the sixth meeting of the leaders of the Caspian countries.
According to Berdimuhamedov, on August 6, six important international events will be held in the Avaza tourist zone, namely, the Consultative Meeting of the Leaders of the Central Asian Region, the International Exhibition and Economic Forum of the Central Asian States, an exhibition of national dishes of the region, as well as a large concert in the Ruhyet Palace with the participation of masters arts of Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan.
In addition, Avaza will host the Dialogue of Women of Central Asian countries. At the forum, an exhibition of Turkmen decorative and applied art, as well as a tour of the corresponding tourist zone will be held.
An exhibition of products from the Central Asian countries will be organized on the territory of the Turkmenbashi International Seaport. The total area of all pavilions will be about 9620 square meters.
During the meeting, Berdimuhamedov directed to provide the forum participants with high-speed Internet and an international communication system. He also gave instructions on creating points for conducting PCR tests at airports and checkpoints, providing round-the-clock medical duty, keeping Avaza clean.
After that, the President signed the resolution on establishing the Organizing Committee for the relevant events.
