South Korea ready to promote mutually beneficial partnerships with Kyrgyzstan

The interlocutors discussed the measures taken in Kyrgyzstan to create an enabling environment for foreign entrepreneurs.

On July 14, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Ulukbek Maripov met with the business delegation of South Korea. The participants discussed the effective steps taken by the Kyrgyz authorities to create an enabling business environment and protect the interests of foreign investors, which were the priority tasks of the Government, the press office of the Government of Kyrgyzstan reported.

The South Korean delegation arrived in Kyrgyzstan to explore the existing possibilities for implementing investment projects and PPP projects in the priority areas of mutual interest.

The South Korean side expressed readiness to promote cooperation with Kyrgyzstan, including in implementing the projects in the fields of digitalization, medicine, education, tourism and sports.

The Prime Minister emphasised that Korea ranked among the major partners of Kyrgyzstan in the Asia-Pacific region.

He highly evaluated the role of a representative of the delegation Park Hyo Rin in opening a modern laboratory for rapid PCR testing at Manas International Airport in Bishkek.
