Kyrgyz parliament demands ‘normal’ Minister of Health to be appointed

Nikitenko said the country was facing the unfavourable epidemiological situation, adding that the death rate was not declining.

On July 9, a member of the Jogorku Kenesh of Kyrgyzstan Natalya Nikitenko expressed her indignation at the statement of the Minister of Health that vaccination could have negative effects on human health. She is concerned by the critical epidemiological situation in the country, the member of Parliament writes on her Facebook page.

She called on the leadership of the country to appoint a new Minister of Health, who would work and make the Task Force to Combat Coronavirus take prompt measures to stop the spread of the pandemic.

“We cannot even provide normal meal to the doctors working in the ‘red zones’ at the expense of the state, let alone pay them their due. The Cabinet of Ministers, the President’s Office, at least someone hit the ground running, start working,” Nikitenko said.

As was reported, during a parliamentary meeting on July 1 this year, the Vice Speaker accused Minister of Health Alymkadyr Beishenaliev of exacerbating the epidemic situation.

She said the Minister was directly responsible for the deaths from the coronavirus, since the coronavirus vaccine should have been purchased earlier.
