Lukashenko congratulates first President of Kazakhstan on his 81st birthday

The President of Belarus said he highly valued his personal acquaintance with the first President of Kazakhstan based on openness and mutual understanding.

On July 6, President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko congratulated the leader of the Kazakh nation, the first President of Kazakhstan, Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev on his 81st birthday, the press office of the President of Belarus reported.

Aleksandr Lukashenko emphasised that destiny had allotted to the leader of the Kazakh people an exceptional role. Nursultan Nazarbayev stood at the origins of the political growth of independent Kazakhstan and contributed directly to building the powerful state with a dynamically developing economy and international repute.

Touching upon regional and bilateral relations, Lukashenko expressed profound gratitude to the honorary politician of Kazakhstan. He highly evaluated the conceptual contribution of the first President of Kazakhstan to building a fruitful Belarus-Kazakhstan tandem, implementing in practice the ideas of the Eurasian model and maintaining peace and stability in the post-Soviet expanse.
