The president will lay the foundation for a new airport in the Jebel village and open a White Yurt in Balkanabat.
President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a government meeting on July 13. The event was focused on the preparation for large-scale events in the Balkan province within the visit of the head of the state, as reported by «Turkmenistan Today».
Berdimuhamedov heard reports on preparations for the start of construction of a new airport in the Jebel village and the opening of Türkmeniň ak öýi (a building in the form of a white yurt for holding mass events) in Balkanabat.
Deputy Prime Minister Serdar Berdimuhamedov was the first to give a speech. He presented a program of festivities that coincide with the above events. The President approved the document.
The leader of the country instructed civil servants to thoroughly prepare for laying the foundation of a new airport in the west of Turkmenistan. He stressed that the cultural events that will be held during his visit should reflect the happy life of citizens in the prosperous epoch of the powerful state, as well as the success of the country in the economic sphere.
Deputy Prime Minister Chary Gylyjov said that the White Yurt is designed for 3,000 places. Near the facility, there is a sadaqah room for 3 thousand seats. According to him, sadaqah will be given there during Berdimuhamedov’s trip.
The governor of the Balkan province Tangryguly Atahalliyev stressed that the residents of the region are looking forward to the president’s visit. The head of the state added that his trip will be a significant step on the path of socio-economic development of all regions of Turkmenistan.
