President of Kazakhstan visits modern medical centre

The leader of Kazakhstan presented the document for an ambulance car to the outpatient clinic staff during the visit.

On June 18, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev visited the new specialist outpatient clinic 103 in the capital. The modern healthcare facility affiliated with Salauatty Astana LLP is capable of receiving 500 patients per shift, the press office of Akorda reported.

The President inspected the premises stuffed with state-of-the-art medical equipment that offered primary care, diagnostic and consultative services to patients. The clinic has the X-ray, mammography, fluorography, ENT and ultra-precise ultrasound machines that help local physicians detect complex diseases at an early stage and determine the method of treatment.

Health House 103 renders services in 23 areas of medicine to patients who live the neighbourhoods. It has a rehabilitation ward and a day hospital with 150 beds. The leader of Kazakhstan presented the document for an ambulance car to the outpatient clinic staff during the visit.

Astana Akim Altai Kulginov informed that 36 centres on the territory of the city rendered primary care services, 20 of them were privately owned. The Mayor noted that the sad statistics on the pandemic illustrated the huge role of outpatient clinics in preventing the spread of diseases. He reported that 180,000 citizens of the capital had completed the first vaccination stage, and another 650,000 citizens needed to be vaccinated to achieve herd immunity.
