Turkey to consider shortening ‘black entry list’ of Kyrgyz citizens

The high-ranking officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan had a meeting with the Minister of Interior of Turkey.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Ruslan Kazakbayev met with Minister of Interior of the Republic of Turkey Suleyman Soylu during the official visit of the Kyrgyz government delegation to Turkey. The main issues under discussion  included the shortening of the ‘black entry list’ of citizens of Kyrgyzstan and the reduction of the time required for issuing work permits and residence permits, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.

The Ministers discussed the outcomes of the 5th meeting of the Supreme Council for Strategic Cooperation, including the enhancement and promotion of bilateral relations the fields of law enforcement, forensics and common security. The parties paid special attention to the issues regarding the stay and protection of the rights of citizens of Kyrgyzstan in the Republic of Turkey.

The Minister of Interior of Turkey said he would try to provide assistance in training and improving professional skills of law enforcement officers from Kyrgyzstan. Increased attention will be given to citizens of Kyrgyzstan, who have arrived in the Republic of Turkey for the purposes of medical treatment, study and tourism.
